Buenos Aires International Airport Terminals
Three Terminals in your Service at the Main Airport in Buenos AiresThe Layout of EZE Airport
Ministro Pistarini International Airport has three interconnected terminal buildings. Transit between terminals is possible on foot, as terminals stand right next to each other. Verily, terminals are connected by walkways, while the walking distance from terminal A to the opposite terminal C usually doesn’t exceed 10 minutes.
The new Departures terminal is the most modern in South America, listing Ezeiza Airport among the most technologically advanced airports in the world.
The Terminal A of EZE Airport
Terminal A (International Arrivals terminal) is the oldest terminal building of Ezeiza Airport. It opened its doors in 2000 and now serves international Arrivals, hosting a satisfying variety of shops, restaurants, and lounge options. The terminal spans two floors that used to house international Arrivals and Departures. Still, once the new terminal at EZE Airport opened, terminal A became a designated zone for international Arrivals, featuring all the necessary services and amenities to give international passengers arriving in Buenos Aires a pleasant first impression of the city.
The New Departures Terminal at EZE Airport
The new terminal of Ezeiza International Airport is known as the Departures terminal (Terminal de Partidas), as it is dedicated to Departures. Hence, all passengers departing from EZE Airport -no matter their destination, whether domestic or international- fly from the new modern and highly advanced terminal building, which is often called the zeppelin terminal because of the distinctive, zeppelin-like, gigantic metal construction dominating its interior.
The Departures terminal opened on April 14, 2023. It occupies the space where the old terminal B was located but spreads further, spanning an area of 50.000 square meters (538.195 sq ft). It is considered the most technologically advanced terminal in Latin America, elevating the status of the entire Ezeiza Airport. Moreover, sustainability was one of the major priorities during its construction. Therefore, Buenos Aires Airport has adopted environmentally friendly policies and operates entirely on renewable energy. It is expected to serve up to 30 million passengers.
The EZE Departures terminal has three floors: two above ground and one basement level. The first floor houses the check-in area, with 72 self-check-in kiosks and 24 self-baggage handling counters. Fast pass services are also available. Moreover, it features five check-in zones with more than 150 counters. The second level hosts the boarding gates and the security control area. It is divided into nine sectors (A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, and I). 36 stations for immigration guarantee faster procedures. Additionally, ten baggage carousels are to be found within its premises, along with eight VIP lounges, numerous stores, and dining facilities.
Our Tip: An app is available to facilitate navigation for passengers around the terminal and the use of the available services.
The Terminal C of EZE Airport
Mercedes Sosa terminal -terminal C or Domestic Arrivals terminal- was constructed in 2011. Terminal C of EZE Airport has always been a terminal serving domestic flights. However, after the construction of the new EZE terminal, terminal C handles exclusively domestic Arrivals. Equipped with duty-free stores, retail shops, cafes, and restaurants, the Mercedes Sosa terminal also houses Aerolineas Argentinas Salon Condor.
FAQs
How many terminals are at EZE Airport?

Can you walk between terminals in EZE?
All three EZE terminals lie within close distance of each other. Hence, passengers can make their way from one terminal to another on foot, without having to catch a bus or train. That’s the reason why you won’t find an airport shuttle or an automated people mover in Ezeiza Airport providing transit between terminals.
Which terminal is international at EZE?
Terminal A is the terminal building handling Arrivals from international destinations. Thus, it is an international terminal. On the other hand, the new Departures terminal serves international Departures. However, the new terminal building also accommodates domestic Departures.
